This is a perfect place for independent travellers, keen golfers and families to explore all that Andalucia has to offer.
The apartments are located in a really beautiful setting surrounded by fantastic mountain scenery, and look directly into the stunning Alhaurin Golf Course, yet the airport is less than 30 minutes away and the beach only 15-20! Within 90 minutes you can even be skiing!!
This area of Spain reportedly has 340 sunny days per year and is truly a great place to relax, unwind and enjoy golfing in spain.
The historical cities of Seville, Granada and Gibraltar are all less than 2 hours away. Mijas and Coin are a couple of little white traditional towns located within a 10-minute drive. Ronda and Malaga are fantastic and well worth a visit. If you want the glitz, glamour and shops of Puerto Banus & Marbella you can get there in less than half an hour. You can even do a day trip to North Africa from here.
Alhaurin Golf Resort Local Area.
Alhaurin el Grande is a 5-minute drive away and is a lively town with plenty of shops, bars and great restaurants.
There is a shopping Mall called La Trocha with shops, bowling and cinema (sometimes is in English), which is about 15 minutes away located between Coin and Cartama.
A great favourite for shopping is the huge La Canada Mall located about 25-30 minutes drive away near Marbella; it is like an American Mall and is open in the evenings and has a multi-screen cinema and large food court.
More locally the Euroski Mall is located at the bottom on the Fuengirola Road and has a large supermarket within, however there are several supermarkets in town so you don’t need to go far to get everything you need.
There is plenty for everyone to do here with walking, bird watching, horse riding, tennis, mountain biking, 4x4 trekking, golf, water parks, cable car, zoo, casino’s, various beaches, SELWO nature park, local markets, historical cities and quaint white villages.
If you don't want to do anything at all, then just enjoy the quiet of one of the fabulous communal pools that are set in tropical gardens and totally relax and unwind!!

The main Alhaurin Course: 18 holes - par 72 - 6,806 yds [5,857 m].
Designed by Seve Ballesteros and is set below spectacular mountain scenery it has an attractive layout that adapts itself perfectly to the surrounding countryside.
The main course is renowned for the variety of its fairways, which requires the player to concentrate on the game and encourages players to use all the clubs in their bags! Each hole is different, making the round continually interesting and challenging for players of all abilities.
The Junior Course: 18 holes - par 3
A unique full course, designed especially for children & novices and shares the fabulous mountain scenery.
The Short Course: 9 holes - par 3
Designed to exploit and enhance the location's natural beauty.
We would recommend that you hire a buggy & Golf clubs can be hired at the clubhouse..
Tuition and Driving Range
Alhaurin Golf boasts a Golf Academy, chipping and putting greens plus a Driving Range 400m long by 100m wide.
The Clubhouse
The clubhouse's high quality facilities offer pro shop, changing rooms, and green fees office.
For golfers and visitors, there is a restaurant and bar. The sunny terraces have fabulous views across the greens to the glorious mountains beyond.

The apartment has 3 large bedrooms & 2 bathrooms, and benefits from hot/cold air conditioning, underground parking and a lift to the front door.
The master bedroom has an ensuite bathroom. All bedrooms have 6 ft zip and link beds, so they can either be twin or doubles and quiet ceiling fans. Just tell me your requirements at the time of booking.
The large sunny lounge /diner leads directly onto a south facing terrace which looks directly into the stunning golf course and fabulous mountain scenery. It is very comfortably furnished in a modern contemporary style, with large leather sofas and dining chairs.
The kitchen is very well equipped with fridge freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, toaster & electric kettle and also leads out onto the balcony that has a large table and seating for 6.
The large communal pool is very close by and is set in fabulous tropical gardens. We have sun loungers for the balcony and these can easily be taken to the pool & garden area, along with drinks in plastic glasses.
It has a satellite TV with English freeview, (you are welcome to bring your own sky card) DVD, CD, Iron & ironing board, hairdryer, safe and a selection of books and toys for children. WIFI is available at the nearby hotel.
The apartment is very child friendly with no glass tables, etc. We even have a travel highchair and cot, available on request.
We have tried hard to make it a real ‘home from home’. Everyone who has stayed here has totally loved it and would have no hesitation in recommending it to family & friends.
