INFORMATION ON TURKEY
Turkey is one of the up and coming tourist destinations and is
currently taking over in popularity from destinations such as
Spain and Portugal, generally due to the value of the Euro.
Turkey offers sun, sea, mountains, and lakes and of course it's
historic site.
From April to October, the popular holiday spots in Turkey offer
an ideal climate that is perfect for visitors seeking a relaxing
holiday, sandy beaches are around but some will be fine shingle,
the sand is fine and grey rather than the silver sand found around
Europe such as Portugal.
Turkey has a magical and mysterious History, and is a land full
of treasures due to successive civilizations spanning over 10,000
years.
Due to the amount of historical sites you will be able to visit
quite a few even if you only spend a short time in Turkey.
I have found that one visit is not enough and most people I have
spoken too visit time and time again.
All the areas I have visited have one thing in common and that
is the hospitality of the people.
